No, this isn't some parody of movie companies remaking horror film classics to make them scarier. I made this for celebration of my 2nd Anniversery here at deviantART, so I took one of my older works back in the days I joined this site and gave it an "upgrade". Originally based on a Simpsons episode ( [link] ), it was first sketched on paper and pencil as I remember, and scanned and finished in Photoshop. I wanted to do it all in red, but didn't know how to at the time since I was all new to Photoshop and such, so it did turn out all that great at the end.

Now I knew quite a lot about Photoshop since then, so I thought of re-doing this since the beginning of May. My idea was to make it a bit more scarier though. Just when I was about to draw Pikachu, I wanted to do him fighteningly scared, and I didn't know how I'll pull that off as the image in my head didn't turn out all that great. Then, an random idea popped into my head thinking, "What would he look like under Jhonen's style?" So I kept that idea and here's the result, and it turned out quite well then I've expected too. I then I colored it in to its original colors and hued it all to red (that I couldn't do before) and then finished it with shading and lighting.
